It’s December 2025. Looking back, I think we will remember this year as the death of the "Chatbot."
For the last two years, the industry tried to sell us "Co-Pilots." The promise was seductive: "It’s like an intern sitting next to you!"
But let’s be honest: Interns are exhausting. You have to explain the task, check their work, correct their formatting, and praise them when they get it half-right. That isn't automation; that's management.
In 2025, we got tired of managing our software.
The biggest shift I saw this year, especially with our enterprise clients in healthcare and law, was the move from Conversation to Delegation.
We stopped asking: "Can you write this email for me?" We started saying: "Monitor my inbox, draft replies to all leads, and only ping me if it's a deal over $50k."
Welcome to the "Autopilot" Era.
The best AI of 2025 wasn't the one with the wittiest personality. It was the one that shut up and did the work. It was the agent running in the background, handling HIPAA compliance logs while the doctors actually saw patients.
The interface is disappearing. We are moving from "Human-in-the-Loop" to "Human-on-the-Loop." We are done playing with tech. We are ready to let it fly the plane.
See you in the new year!
